Note: Volunteer opportunities may be limited during the 2020-21 year. All volunteers must complete the Issaquah School District Volunteer application process (provided below).

Current Volunteer Opportunities:

Translators
Volunteer Translators, fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Hindi, or Spanish, to name a few, interested in translating documents to help PCMS PTSA best reach those families within our diverse community.
 
Parent Education Director: 
Coordinates speakers, programs and presentations to support continuous parent education at various PTSA events and membership meetings, while working with  representatives from ISD, PTSA Council, including Parent Education events.
 
PCMS PTSA 8th Grade Party Chair:
Volunteers needed to complete the team, helping organize, coordinate the 8th grade Celebration and Party! 

Key Requirements:

  • Must be a parent of an 8th Grader.
  • Meet, assist PCMS staff organizing 8th grade party and volunteers (PTSA already has list of volunteers).
  • Email volunteer reminders.
  • Organize volunteers the day of the party.
  • Thank volunteers after promotion party.
Reflections:
Volunteers needed to help program chair, judge, and prepare artwork for district transportation. For more information, questions, contact PCMS PTSA Reflections Chair, Angela Bizzari.
 
Monthly Staff Appreciation Breakfasts:
The PCMS PTSA provides monthly breakfasts for Staff Meetings, as a show of appreciation. Looking for volunteers to sign-up, contributing items dropped-off at PCMS. We do the rest! 
 
Cascade Corner:
ASB Cascade Corner Snack Shack, open EVERY Friday at lunch, with all proceeds supporting ASB Programs. Shifts needs a minimum of 1 adult volunteer. It’s the best volunteer job ever! Thank you so much for your support of this program! Questions, contact Melissa-CC Chair.
 
 
Volunteer Application 

Complete the online application at least 48 hours before scheduled volunteer opportunity. 2020-21 ISD Volunteer Registration Form.  Potential volunteers not completing the application will be unable to volunteer. 

Keep in mind, application may take 15-20 minutes to complete, including a volunteer training slideshow, and uploading copy of driver’s license.  All volunteers must be approved PRIOR to volunteer opportunity, when entering PCMS front office.
